Abu Dhabi, UAE – January 21, 2025 – Abu Dhabi has launched a pioneering Dh13 billion strategy designed to position the emirate as the world’s first fully AI-native government by 2027. This forward-thinking initiative will integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into all digital government services, transforming how public services are delivered to residents and businesses alike.
The strategy, announced by the Abu Dhabi Media Office on Tuesday, will allocate Dh13 billion to enhance digital infrastructure, contributing more than Dh24 billion to the emirate’s GDP. More than 200 cutting-edge AI solutions will be rolled out across government services, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s status as a global hub for AI-driven innovation.
“Integrating AI, cloud technologies, and data-driven insights into our government’s foundation will revolutionize public service delivery, optimize operations, and fuel sustainable economic growth,” stated Ahmed Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE).
