Dubai Airport Warns Passengers of Flight Disruptions Today
Dubai, September 2, 2026: Passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport (DXB) are being advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport. Flights to and from the UAE are continuing to experience delays, cancellations and schedule changes amid the latest regional security situation. Airlines have warned that flight timings can change at short notice.
The disruption is linked to the continuing escalation between the United States and Iran, which is affecting aviation operations across parts of the Middle East. According to The National, both Dubai International Airport and Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport were experiencing delays on Wednesday morning, with airlines continuing to adjust their schedules based on the situation.
Several major airlines operating from the UAE have announced changes to their services. Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia have all been affected by cancellations, delays or operational changes on selected routes. Passengers are therefore being urged to check directly with their airline for the latest information rather than relying only on their original booking schedule.
Dubai Airports is also directing travellers to check their flight information before travelling to DXB. The airport’s official website currently provides flight-status information for September 2, while airlines are advising passengers to monitor updates regularly.
For passengers: If you are flying from Dubai today, check your airline’s app/website and your flight number before leaving home. Even if your flight was originally confirmed, the departure time or route may change.
